Mission, Vision, and Impact

Mission

ASP strives to improve the health and well-being of cancer warriors, at every stage of their fight.

ASP will serve warriors of all ages*, backgrounds, and diagnoses, regardless of fitness level, ability to pay, or treatment type**.

ASP also aims to contribute to the growing research and knowledge about the impact of physical activity on health and quality of life for people with various forms of cancer.

*At this time, ASP requires participants to be at least 18 years of age.

**Medical clearance is required to participate in any of ASP's programming.

Vision

By providing accessible group training to all warriors, regardless of geographic location or ability to pay, ASP aims to be the catalyst in enhancing warriors’ overall quality of life through four foundational pillars:

STRENGTH, SPIRIT, COURAGE, AND CONNECTION.

ASP is offering progressive virtual training programs throughout 2022, and will begin offering in-person/virtual hybrid programs as soon as warriors are able to safely work out in fitness facilities.

Impact

By bringing cancer survivors of all ages, backgrounds, and diagnoses together, we will facilitate bonds that would not otherwise be possible.

As we grow our tribe and gain momentum, we plan to expand programming and ultimately contribute to the greater understanding of the benefits of exercise for warriors before, during, and after cancer treatment.
